Conducting and Music Education

Andrew is a proficient conductor and experienced educator holding a PGDE from UCL's Institute of Education. Andrew's passion lies in making choral music accessible for all, mixing traditional choral styles with modern styles; in particular Andrew is deeply invested in bringing musical opportunities to those who may not fit into a conventional ensemble. He has held positions as the conductor of Jane Holloway Choir, conductor and project leader of the award winning choir for adults with learning difficulties, Holloway Notes; and music teacher at Westminster Academy. Andrew currently holds the post of Assistant Director of Music at St Anselm's Church, Kennington and is a conducting scholar with Sing for Pleasure. He works regularly as a freelance conductor, including ensembles such as the Croydon Male Voice Choir. He teaches piano, singing and violin from beginner to grade 8 standard.
